1955

New location

Current location purchased to build a school that served the growing needs of the Catholic community in Saratoga.

1957

School Opens September 5th

First school faculty – Sisters of Notre Dame of Namur. School opens for 1st-4th grades.

1957

First School Principal

First school principal Sister Maria Josepha.

1958

School Dedication

Sacred Heart School was dedicated. Pope Pius XII graciously bestowed apostolic benediction upon all parishioners.

1960

Geary Hall (Gym) Dedication

Geary Parish Hall was dedicated. Currently our gymnasium and multipurpose room.

1967

New Convent Opens

The Sisters of Notre Dame of Namur receive a new convent next to the school.

1970

New Church

Modern design church was dedicated to Most Reverend Joseph McGucken

2000

New Pre-Kindergarten Facility

Sacred Heart School expands. New modern Pre-Kindergarten facility is built to serve the needs of the parishioners.

2018

NEW KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM

Sacred Heart School dedicates the new Kindergarten classroom and playground that will better serve the needs of the children.

60 Year Anniversary  1957 – 2017

Sacred Heart School celebrated 60 years of educating in the Catholic tradition and developing the student’s character through Faith, Service, and Academic Excellence. We salute all the priests, sisters, parents, and students who, with their vision and dedication, have made Sacred Heart School the wonderful and successful school that it is today and will be for generations to come.
