Bio / Background

“Miss T” as she has been known throughout her teaching career, feels very lucky to be working at Sacred Heart for the past 9 years! (10 years before that at a public school in Saratoga). Art, along with children, animals, coffee and shoes are her true passions in life! When teaching her "kids," she takes a creative approach. While Art History was her major in college and she believes in exposing her students to various techniques and cultures. She does not believe in grading a child's art work! "ALL children have different thought processes and different ways of expressing their creativity! Her favorite thing about teaching art is seeing a student "BEAM" with pride over their work. "It's important to make a child feel good about themselves, and instill them with self-confidence!"
