Señora Mangan is a native of Colombia. She earned her bachelor's degree from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano before residing in the U.S. She studied at Winston-Salem State University. She has taught Spanish for more than 17 years at various Catholic Schools throughout the country in New York, North Carolina, and now in California.

Señora Mangan hopes her students will not only learn about the Spanish language but is a firm believer of a full-immersion experience of the Hispanic Culture by learning about each Spanish speaking country's cuisine, customs, music, and language variations.
