Science – Kindergarten to Third Grade

Bio / Background

Cecelia Speckman, a San Jose native, holds a Clear K-12 California teaching credential and has taught in a variety of public and Catholic schools. She has taught at Hoover Junior High, Lincoln High, Saint Francis High, and Saint Joseph’s in Mountain View. While at these schools, Mrs. Speckman taught sixth grade, 8th grade, math, social studies and art, and was a vice principal. Taking a hiatus after the birth of her children (both Sacred Heart grads) she joined Sacred Heart as the K-3 Science teacher. Mrs. Speckman shares her love for children through education. While finding inspiration from the students, she knows that exciting them about science broadens their awareness of the world around them.
